Juliána Chomová (CZ) – Lino printing workshop

Try the lino printing, a technique of prints from above. During the workshop, we will cut into an old kitchen lino, ink it and then print it on the paper through an antique printing press. Following a few basic steps, you will create authentic prints, sign them and take them home with you. All material for the workshop is provided, just a sketch of an idea or design needed. Workshop is suitable for all ages.


The workshop will be instructed by Juliána Chomová whose broad scale of work contains illustration, comics and graphic arts. After she graduated at AAAD in Prague, she and her partner established a domestic silk-screen printing workshop called Fatcatpress. Juliána also collaborates with Kudlapress, and independent risograph oriented publisher based in Prague.
