Seminart (CZ) – Milestone as comics, comics as milestone?

Comics. Not only a world of invincible man with super skills. Variety in content and visual form, broad accessibility and comprehensible language make comics an efficient medium to transmit a wide spectrum of politically - social subjects universally. Beyond seemingly banal stories, important historical moments might be revealed for a common or professional reader. Which are the greatest milestones in comics then? And when does comics become a milestone by itself?
Specialist from the field of history, art history and artists themselves will try to answer these questions in an interdisciplinary forum of discussion ‘Seminart’ organized by students from Art History Class at FF MUNI, Brno.
